Services and Tours Operating on Christmas Day, 25th December 2025
On Christmas Day, our Mt Cook, West Coast and Milford Sound Tours will be operating as normal. Additionally, transport services including the InterIslander Ferry, Northland Ferries and Auckland Transport (AT) buses will continue to run their usual schedules.

InterCity Service: Christchurch – Greymouth
From Friday 1st May – Wednesday 30th September 2026, the Christchurch – Greymouth return service will operate 4 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (timetable unchanged).

- Arthur’s Pass: arrives 11:00 / departs 11:35
- Kumara Junction (request stop): arrives 12:39 / departs 12:40
- Greymouth: arrives 13:00
IC8729 – Greymouth to Christchurch
- Greymouth: departs 13:30
- Kumara Junction (request stop): arrives 13:49 / departs 13:50
- Arthur’s Pass: arrives 14:55 / departs 15:30
- Christchurch: arrives 17:45
Gray line / greatsights west coast
From Friday 1st May – Wednesday 30th September 2026, our West Coast services operate 4 days per week over winter.

- Fox Glacier → Greymouth: Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun
