Auckland Whale & Dolphin Safari Celebrates Te Wiki o Te Taiao Conservation Week 2025

September, 2025

Auckland Whale & Dolphin Safari is excited to celebrate Conservation Week 2025 (Te Wiki o Te Taiao) with a series of inspiring and interactive initiatives both aboard their safaris and across social media. The team is proud to champion conservation while engaging the community in meaningful and creative ways.

Adding a dash of fun to the campaign, the company launched a social media giveaway giving away a free family pass for participants with the best colouring in artwork. This initiative encourages families to participate, fostering creativity and connection while spotlighting the importance of conservation education. The colouring in sheets feature a range of marine life and can be found below:

Their broader mission, to blend wildlife discovery with active conservation, is front and centre year-round: $1 from every ticket supports PhD research into marine mammals, reinforcing the link between adventure and contribution and each eco-safari directly contributes to marine conservation and research, offering interactive learning and unique engagement with onboard marine experts. The team have also been sharing resources throughout the week for followers to learn more about the marine environment, including a Hauraki Gulf Bird Spotting Guide and a Te Ao o Tangaroa Marine Life Guide.
